At Goulburn Valley Creamery, we place quality at the heart of everything we do.

As a proudly Australian dairy manufacturer, our pasture-based milk is from premium dairy farms in Australia. We partner with leading regional farmers to grow dairy quality you can taste.

Our new dedicated processing facility at Kyabram, 200km north of Melbourne in the heart of Victoria’s dairy region, uses the latest in processing technology to deliver tasty, quality dairy products made in accordance with the most stringent food safety standards. It processes 250,000 litres every day.

Quality milk begins with caring for our cows. We employ professionals at our farms to develop improved animal nutrition and welfare practices. At our labs we drive innovation to deliver products that offer improved shelf-life and longer-lasting freshness.

Embedded in the region, we are committed to the thriving Kyabram and surrounding Goulburn Valley communities.

With many of our 80-strong team and all our farmer partners from the region, we are proud to support local groups and organisations, working partnership to build common value.

Our local teams work in partnership with farmer suppliers, for easy and direct communication at all levels of our business.

Assuring the highest quality dairy throughout the production value chain, our operations and products comply with international standards and are fully accredited. Our wide range of milk products are exported around the world, with conventional and organic choices.

From the Goulburn Valley to our customers’ doorsteps, we export the premium Australian dairy around the world.

Mancel Hickey

Chief Executive Officer

Mancel joined Goulburn Valley Creamery as it’s inaugural CEO in 2019.

An experienced company director and senior executive, Mancel has more than 20 years’ experience with domestic and international dairy and food companies.

With particular strengths in strategic and operational management, he has held both executive and non-executive company director roles with several substantial private companies.

Ben Gledhill

Operations Manager

Ben joined Goulburn Valley Creamery in 2021 with responsibility for all processing operations.

Committed to operational and quality assurance excellence, Ben’s expertise extends throughout agribusiness and supply management roles. He spent five years with Freedom Foods in dairy UHT processing prior to joining the company, with previous experience within the export meat and logistics sectors.

Living locally at Shepparton, Ben is proud to support the region’s long-term growth and success.

Jeff Shannon

Dairy Field Services Officer

Jeff joined Goulburn Valley Creamery as Field Services Officer in November 2021.

With a diverse sales background accumulated over 30 years, Jeff brings a high level of professionalism and customer service experience to the company. He is passionate about providing the best, personalised relationship support for our suppliers and community.

Growing up on a dairy farm in Katunga in northern Victoria, he has always lived in rural communities. His experience includes time in the banking and finance industry before returning to agriculture as a water broker with a large, multinational corporation prior to joining us.
