Goulburn Valley Creamery today increased its opening milk price to up to $9.10 per kilogram of milk solids for 2022-23 for exclusive and non-exclusive supply.
Chief Executive Officer Mancel Hickey said the higher adjustment reaffirmed the company’s commitment to rewarding premium product from farmer suppliers.
“Our updated milk price is now from $8.50 to $9.10 per kilogram of milk solids,” he explained.
“Again, it recognises the high quality standards of the milk we source. We certainly anticipate many of our farmers will sit toward to the higher end of the pricing band.
“It is important that we look after existing and attract new farmer suppliers, offering an attractive processing partner alternative to them.”

The announced prices apply for the 2022-23 year, from 1 July 2022.
